What the Boys Taught Me
What the Boys Taught Me is inspired by the book What the Boys Taught Me (2004) from a Taiwanese author, filmmaker, talk show presenter Kang-Yung Tsai. This book contains a series of boys/men collection that he met throughout his life. This performance reflects on the different situations between men and women, using percussion music, mime, film, live image, to discuss those life stories. It’s personal, yet universal.

Yung-Tuan Ku found inspiration in the novel the book What the Boys Taught Me (2004) from a Taiwanese author, filmmaker, talk show presenter Kang-Yung Tsai. The book contains a series of boys/men collection that he met throughout his life.
This performance reflects on the different situations between men and women, in terms of gender, age, social status, stereotype.
